Morning Lightby magnetic9999Comment: Off center, terrible picture. Very bad. Just kidding. I think I'd have preferred to see it even more off center, but I don't know if that would be possible in that building. It's a lovely space and the light coming through the windows makes a very attractive color on that marble (?), but by my calculations, it's more like afternoon light, so I think your title is a bit off. I wonder if those figures are life-size...if they are it would give a nice sense of scale. But now I think they may be even larger than life size. Of course, I would have liked it better with a statue of a *mmfpfhfphh*, but you take what you can get :-) |

Inhibitby KimblyComment: Ah, well, thanks for all the comments. Believe me, the photo would not have been better with more depth of field. You really do need the depth of field to show that the wire is bending away from the viewer, rather than just being a loop of wire. And for those who said it was distracting, I'd ask...distracting from what? The phenominally interesting background? You're supposed to be looking along the line from the in-focus barb down and out of the picture. If I didn't want you to focus on the wire I'd have used a naked chick as a background instead of plain white :-) |

Lonely by GoatfatherComment: Well done. I like it a lot...probably because it reminds me of someplace that has a personal meaning to me. But this is well composed. The yellow really stands out well. And I like how the rocks have that slight mossy seaweedy greenish tinge to them :-) |

Funken Eggby hokieComment: Real creative idea. Not sure what you're trying to say, but the effect is interesting. |

Getting a Hold of a Bubbleby RickyComment: Interesting idea. The clamp doesn't even seem to be resting on the fingers which seems weird. I think more directional light would have improved the photograph and brought out some texture in the clamp. Just by scrolling down, I actually prefer the photo without the hand and the crank of the clamp...it makes a more pleasing composition with just the C and the bubble, I think. |

Hungry Hornwormby npageComment: Gross! Nice macro, but the orange thing at the bottom definitely calls attention to itself since the rest of the photo is so green. |

Indivisibleby connieComment: Interesting portrait. The woman looks very suspicious looking off to the side like that to me...so I don't what message this is supposed to be giving. I guess it's supposed to be one of resolute determination judging from the title. I'd have preferred her outfit to be a bit less strongly lighted so that it would blend in more with the flag in the background which would emphasize your 'indivisible' theme a bit more. I guess I'm assuming this is set up, so my comments are revolving around that...if this is candid then it's extremely excellent :-) |

Object in the Skyby iggy386Comment: the color gradient from left to right is strange...was it originally taken as a vertical photo? |
