November rainby U622Comment: This looks like a very serene place. The things that hurt it, for me, are the blue cast and the tilted pole. Others may like the composition with the tilted pole though... I think that's a personal preference. Using the poles as a reference, you do have a nice rule of thirds running here. |

Am I in focus ?by airdanceComment: I think this is an excellent subject matter. My criticism: the sunny area of the photo is pretty hot - seems a bit overexposed, however there is still plenty of detail left in the skin under the beak. I would also prefer to see either less of the beak and more of the head or the entire beak. Having said that, It is possible to have this much of the beak showing, but maybe with a different composition, possibly having him higher on the right frame bringing the eye down to the left while following the beak. I know you can't pose these critters though, amd waiting for the opportune shot could get long! |

Desolation by Joey LawrenceComment: Had to know you would win this one Joey - you have the grain effect down pat - combined with your awesome photographic/creative skills you are a shoe in for the ribbon! :-) I think it's fantastic your parents are so supportive and will help you out with photos. Someday I'm going to see you in galleries! |

Bano de Lluvia en Mexicoby JutildaComment: This looks like a painting and it deserves to be framed, on a wall. Excellent! I expect to see this place top 10. |

you never notice meby mandyturnerComment: Very very interesting effect. There is something dark and moody that I really like about this image. Definately like the b/w treatment. I actually think the plug receptacle helps this shot as well. Very nice. |

Huge Fireworkby pitsamanComment: Excellent capture... I love fireworks photos over a city line like this. Now if only that cloud (or smoke) didn't go right through the middle - but that's being picky. |

half a secondby visaksenComment: What exactly am I looking at? It appears to be grass... the purple could be flowers? Although you met the challenge, I don't find the image appealing. |

Summer Heatby glad2badadComment: The best element of this photo: the center of the flower. The blurry bee in the middle of the image, the blown out highlights on the right side and the loss of detail on the petals hurt the image in my opinion. I don't know that this was a good subject for long exposure. |

Nightlightby shobleyComment: This is a very nice scene, I like the glow of the walkway lights and the waterway leading through the image. |
