MOP_7795by MattOComment: Oh Matt, I know on close viewing that it's not quite as cut your finger crisp as most all of your work but wouldn't I be happy with such a capture - there is so much expression/feeling in this shot that I would write off the slight softness. Beautiful as usual. |

7 - Waiting for the Bus Homeby tvsometimeComment: I like how the woman is looking out the window and her expression adds to the comment by pixelpig that they are waiting for the last bus home. What an interesting slice of life shot. |

03368by pixelpigComment: I am wondering what item(s) you used to create so many lovely textures and swirls - beautiful shades covering so much of the b&w spectrum - I see you used quite a long exposure too so you gave this a lot of thought and it shows. I hope you are recovering nicely and am so glad to see it didn't side-line you too much - your photos are a real treat. |

07 - One Dropby ursulaComment: I love grays and this one is very beautiful and should be viewed at full size as the b/g just compliments it in that mode. One day ursula I will have to entice you to explain your amazing technique in creating such lovely abstracts that always make me want to feel them against me. |

How do I get there? (7/52)by KroburgComment: Aw but I am growing to look forward to watch this little guy grow up via the great shots you show us of him. For some reason, his posture reminds me of a person leaning up against a fence watching something out of my view. You probably could add more by trying different types of pping to it but for me, Hoover can hold his own.
I didn't read what pixelpig wrote before I made a similar comment - how funny we see him as in a very human pose. Message edited by author 2013-02-21 05:06:03. |

In and Around Balboa Park - Week 7 - Play Time?by AnnComment: A very interesting shot and unusual in how you angled it - as others have remarked, the focus on the ball is excellent. Love the warm tones too - makes me want to stretch out on that room. |

IMG_3986-haight-Street-house-one-800by sfaliceComment: sfalice as I have said in the past, you sure know your city - you show us beautiful buildings with such character. As ursula commented, the slightly pulled back curtains add to the interest overall as I wonder if it's opened just to add a tad of light, or to just peek out to see the day.
With your wonderful street-light series from last year and now this theme, I too think you should have a place to show your shots and include the history - there is a Patch for SF and I know they would love to publish a weekly blog with these photos and history. Just a thought. |

06/52 - contented and committedby mitalapoComment: I agree with everything that has been said about this shot - a very contented pooch and a very committed photographer to lay down to get this very interesting shot - love the little light in his eye and how the oof f/g really drags my eye into the shot. Lovely! |

Bookwormby thrumyiisComment: Oh what a lovely collection of interesting things to have - there is so much to look at that I feel very invited to visit. The wall hanging is of a type I have seen before with each square outlined in yarn and you lit it so well that it only adds and doesn't take away a bit from all that is in front of it - just a treat to view. |
