Oakdaleby rubyrednailsComment: I gave this a five mostly because it is a nice point of view. I don't really care for much else about the photograph. The color is boring and the details are washed out and at this size it's really hard to appreciate the composition much. The landscape itself doesn't have much 'wow' factor. You've got a good eye for composition. I gave this a four. |

Dangerfieldby banmornComment: This is a nice dog shot. The focus is crisp and there are good highlights in the dog's eyes. It's not an amazing shot though. I gave it a four because I'm sceptical that this is something you've never shot before. Otherwise, I would have given it a five. |

Tulipsby willtataComment: This is a pretty garden but this image is too small to appreciate the shot. I'm not sure it would be significantly better at a larger size. The colors are rather drab and washed out. The tulips aren't really massed enough to warrent filling the frame with so many. Picking a single flower and finding a position that would show the light penetrating the translucent petals is one way to show flowers at their best in a photograph.I would classify this as a rather pedestrian snapshot.I gave it a four. |

My Life in Ruinsby TikicharmComment: There are a few technical problems with this shot. It is overexposed so there is very little detail in the rune stones. At first I thought they were pills, in fact. There are far too many hot spots. The highlights in the fabric are over exposed and I can't even figure out what that bright spot withteh cord dangling down in the corner is. The border just adds to the mess and distraction. Sorry, I gave this a four. |

Minivan Reflectby koltrane75Comment: Sorry, I gave this a three. It just seems to be a snapshot you took out of a moving car. While that may be a place you've never taken pictures before, it doesn't make this an interesting shot. The wierd angle serves no visual purpose. |

Carl Sandburg Houseby karmatComment: I gave this a 5. I felt it was a nice composition but it just didn't wow me. It seems a bit bland. A scene like this would have been great if the fencepost had some flowers winding around the ivy or if there were some flowers in the meadow in the background (I realize this isn't something you can control --- I just mean that a bit of color would have added more interest to this scene). |

Freedom of speech.by DufusComment: This got a 7 from me because I'm a big fan of street photography and photojournalism and this really works. It might have gotten higher but I'm not sure I like that the foremost picketer has his face cut off. If it was your intention to include the hotel sign at the top of the frame, I can see why you would choose this odd point of view. Otherwise, I wonder why you didn't aim just a bit lower? |

Behind the Green Fenceby ccaseyComment: I think you should crop it to omit the fuzzy dog in the background and really focus on the foremost dog. Love the green and white. |

Irisby LucidLotusComment: Love the color, shape and texture of the flower. Not sure the fuzzy blue vase at the lower edge is doing much. |

A Cockatielby trainComment: A very nice animal portrait. I little blah for my taste though. |
