Birds of Paradise are lovely flowers. Looks like you found these in a public space of some sort, where it's hard to control the lighting. The flash is kind of harsh, and you might want to try using a shallower depth of field to blur the distracting background objects.

Interesting composition and lovely color combo. Would like to see a little more shadow detail in brown area of petals at bottom of sunflower. But rest of shot is very nicely exposed.

Interesting lighting effect in B/W. Makes the lighter flowers look spotlighted, which is nice. Not sure the brick is entirely complimentary to the texture of the flowers, but hey, if the flowers are planted in front of brick, that's where you shoot. I do believe the brick looks better in B/W than it would have in color, so good choice on your part.

This one has loads of visual impact. You got just the right areas in sharp focus, and then got lovely blurred DOF in the rest. Really nice.

Good capture of the spider. Shot looks oversharpened, and as in your other flower, there's a distracting stem forming a strong diagonal in the background.

Nice detail and color in the center of the lily. Unfortunate strong diagonal line protruding from behind the upper petal. Also some spots in the blue background. Maybe try a tighter crop and some retouching/cloning to remove the spots and the line.

I agree with your assessment about this being "ok." It's a pretty composition, but not enough detail in the white petals to raise it to the level of "Wow." I do, though, very much like the way the green leaf tip peaks above the petals.

Great saturated color, and the glowing edges effect is a perfect fit for this flower.

Like the lighting on the petals. Maybe you could try dodging the highlight on the leaf that protrudes out of the frame at the bottom.
