There She Isby EstimatedEyesComment: Like the perspective of this image. Decent clarity on your main subjects. Lighting, color and action are well captured.
This image has the appearance that it was taking from the moving platform and not from panning per se and perhaps some voters will think it is not 'true' motion panning. |

Blazing Byby MarcusArmaniComment: Incredibly nice stop action image. Colors, lighting and exposure are right on. (Of course that could be accomplished with RAW image processing from the original. lol!) Nice sharpness and excellent perspective on the hawk.
The image looks to be soft focused rather than motion panned. It does not show much background motion. That is probably because you took it at a fast shutter speed even though you obviously were panning the bird. Some voters will probably fault this fine image for that in this particular challenge. |

Baby Bluesby TerryGeeComment: So this is what Frank Sinatra looked like as a baby! Nice capture, high technical quality. |

Fence shadowsby scotthadlComment: Looks like Portland, Oregon. Is it?
Nicely captured... Good shadows and perspective. |

Exhilaration by escapetoozComment: Great concept, nice capture, water on left looks great, good shadows. This can be a very, very good image.
Imporvements: As I'm sure has been mentioned numerous times, you need to level the horizon. The water reflection on the right is overexposed and you want to do color processing to bring out dramatic color in the sky or convert image to standard black and white. |

Flower Worldby newrotheComment: Like this image a lot but you should have cropped everything at the top above the blue parts out of the composition. |

My First 39th Birthday ! (really)by RazorsEdgeComment: Nicely composed, good lighting and sharpness.
I recommend clutching that underwear for as many more 39th birthdays as you possibly can get a partner to provide them. Eventually you won't be able to. Since it is your first 39th B-Day, I will forgive that you left the label visible in the image because of your obvious enthusiasm but recommend that next year, on your second 39th birthday, that you keep the label on the other side. LOL!!! |

The birthby Rino63Comment: Like the idea and concept of this image a lot. Depth of field works well. Composition is fine.
Technical flaws hurt this image. Most noticeable is the haloing, both white and black, along edges of the sharply focused main subject on the left. That is a big distraction. I rarely comment on borders and do not lower scores based on them, but I suspect there are voters that do and will rate this image lower because of it. Your border adds nothing to the composition and is very distracting. |
