		| | excellent topic, nice work. i think hockey and swimming are the two hardest sports to shoot. |

		| | Appearance here is that you were tracking the puck which is solidly stopped in motion. Unfortunately, the skater's helmet is somewhat camera shook and detracts a bit from the impact. Good image, wrong focal point imo. |

		| | not bad. It would have been nice to have seen some other players in te background as he "zoomed" by them.

		| | The hockey player is a bit blurry, but good potential. |

		| | Little bit of a yellow cast to this photo. I find the best way to get bright whites when shooting hockey is to get up close to the ice and take a picture so that white fills the entire frame. Then set your custom white balance to that picture.
Also, I think if the picture were cropped differently, with more space ahead of the skater, and his body a little further back in the frame, it would be more visually appealing.

		| | Wow, this is really great. I love that the feet are still in motion while the stick is still so in focus. Wonderful capture. |

		| | This is a good shot, unfortunately the background (or ground) don't have enough detail to show up the panning. |

		| | Not really getting a feeling of panning per se. His feet are blurred but the blur in the background is not giving me a feeling of motion. (More that its just out of focus) |
