I found out in some tutorial that duplicating the layer and using screen mode for the top one gives nicer contrast and colors with pictures like this one - just an idea, as it seems a bit dark to me. |

Taking-a-Drinkby cryanComment:  JMart - must be a pince-nez. Maybe it is old and can't see so close anymore.
Anyway - nice focus on the eyes of the insect, but I agree, the large blurry part in the foreground is a bit distracting for me as well. |
