| This is a fun shot. The plant is interesting to look at with the colors and shapes. Good use of DOF on this. Might trim a smidge off the top of the photo. Technically you're positioned fine for ROT's, negative space, etc...but it just feels a little unbalanced. |

| Excellent focus on the buds. Yes it is a type of cactus. We call them 'crab claws' over here. Nice DOF. |

love the beautiful colours, the richness, the excellent dof .. the background is perfect for this great plant of some sort .. !!.. looks a bit cactusy .. :) |

| Hmmm... I'll go out on a limb and concur with you that this is some sort of plant. Keep in mind, I am no botanist. I'll also agree with you about the lovely colors. :) |

| I agree I like the colors as well. They compliment each other nicely. I also like the chosen shallow DOF. Works very well. |
