Beautiful! I like the placemtment of the main flower on the right, and how it fades to bokeh on the far left. Personally, I like dark-ish photos, and this one works for me.

I like the composition, and the DOF. There is also good lighting that gives some highlights to the eyes, otherwise they would be lost in his dark coat. I am more and more impressed with the results people get with that 50mm lens. Very nice photograph.

This is good. I like the gritty feel to it, so think the noise adds to photo. It might be a tad more interesting if the praying woman wasn't quite so centered. Very nice photo, regardless.

Week 3 - Hannah

Nice portrait of your daughter. There are really minimal shadows, and they aren't hard, so think the lighting is good. Sometimes the total lack of shadows flattens the look too much.I especially like the sharpness/clarity of her eyes. The light out of focus background is perfect for her dark clothes.

Midtown Afternoon

This is a wonderful silhouette. In addition to liking the interactions of the people, I like how each end person only has one foot on the floor...it seems to add balance. The floor with reflections compliments the silhouette. I think this would be slightly better if the bench had been centered left to right a little more.

Drive-In Movies

This does look like an old photo...almost Polaroid-ish. It has a faded look, like it's been in someones album for many years. I think I would like it a little better if it was just a little sharper.

I've become a huge fan of this lens. The perspective it offers is unique, and can make a fairly ordinary scene look spectacular. This photo is no exception...love it!
