This drive-in is still going strong. Another picture from the thumb area of Michigan.
I tried to process it so it would look like a photo from back in the day.

i love drive in's - does this one use FM transmitters or does it use the squawk box...

i like the high key look of this one - it almost seems like a sketch rather than a painting

Whats it called? 'Social History' I think. Nice composition and imho would have worked in Leading Lines ;)

Your processing works perfectly in - or suits - every part of this image. It is like the old photos, yes, but I think it is better or more than that: I'm thinking art more than old photo.

You remind me of how the ordinary, often endangered as a species, is worth capturing. In sepia it looks old - yet in bw or colour it would too. Like an average in mathematics, between the top high tech value and the bottom rustic view from the past, this falls in between. The selection process, you remind me, is what lies at the beginning of every camera click.

You don't see many Drive-Ins anymore. nice nostalgic feel this has, love the tone!

The flag just gives it the stamp of approval of being a bit of americana. I like the washed out look, it adds to the nostalgia.

A classic! The flag really makes it.

This does look like an old photo...almost Polaroid-ish. It has a faded look, like it's been in someones album for many years. I think I would like it a little better if it was just a little sharper.

It does in fact look very nostalgic and has a "back in the day" look -- which is perfect for an old drive in. I have such great memories of going to drive-ins when I was a kid and they are so hard to find now. This photo evokes great emotions and memories for me!

Now that is one cool place. They closed ours down a few years back but the speakers didn't work that well anyway. Great capture of something that may not last to much longer.

That thing looks sooooooooo old! We hardly have any of those left anymore and it's been many, many years since I've been to one. I think you achieved your goal with the processing.

Very good "documentary" type shot - good clarity and comp, and has a sorta softness to it that reminds me of the old Brownie shots. And very pleased to see the drive-in is still going strong!

I like this shot, it has a lot of character! I'm not a big fan of the soft processing look..whatever it is.....but the composition is interesting and the "Americana" feel is great.

Real interesting, an entry with a character of Googie-Populuxe style. A good view & capture. Drive-in-theaters, once so common, they have become rare on the landscape. Where would this one be located?

I think you achieved your goal, it certainly looks like a back in the day type shot. I like it.
