i love how you can tell that these people are deep in conversation - and that the lines of shadows from the windows seem to tell us what they are saying

I really like the way you have composed this with the open foreground and leading lines drawing me in to the dark people. It is interesting that they are all doing something different like they don't know each other yet are sitting so close. Great capture.

Nice calming study Panos :) The only thing that niggles me here is what appears to be dirty/greasy footmarks on that wonderful wooden floor. Well spotted :)

very cool, I love these types of shots. If I had to pick anything that bugged me though I would say that the composition is just a little off. Maybe if you chopped a bit off the top and there was more negative space on the left I would feel more satiated, but on the other hand I just love sticking things into corners. To each his own, great work.

Shh. Don't want to say anything to disturb the scene. Let them sit there always, just so, black monuments, midtown, midday.

I love the silhouettes - great black contrast with all the other items in the picture. It's fun to see the couples paired up and then that lone man all by himself. I also like the horizontal rail cutting right thru the picture. Great capture!

You remind me that lustre, reflections, and sheen are pleasantly exotic additions to any photo.

This is very nice! Love the lighting and the compositon in this shot. I can't help but wonder what they are talking about on the bench, well done!

I like this! I like that it is slightly off center and that stark contrast between the foreground and the background. Great image.

This is a wonderful silhouette. In addition to liking the interactions of the people, I like how each end person only has one foot on the floor...it seems to add balance. The floor with reflections compliments the silhouette. I think this would be slightly better if the bench had been centered left to right a little more.

Oh how awesome! I love the mood and feel of this photo. It reminds me a little of the concept I had last week. It appeals to me very much!

Great composition. I like all the lines. That darn plant is a bit distracting but other than that a wonderful b/w.

Beautiful image! What others said, i like the antithesis between the couples and the lonely person.

Love the silhouettes. This is quite a simple shot but tells a story. It looks very peaceful.

Even though this is quite a simple shot, it has a lot going for it. The silhouettes contrast so well against the outside scene and the floor. I like how you have two couple interacting and then the solo person. Are they all together? Strangers? This photo makes me think about the subject, and you did it well.

I'm not sure if anything could be done about it, but the bench is a bit off-centered. But then if you center it, the column goes through the middle couple. Tough call either way.

Quite nice - I like the warmth of the indoor scene contrasted with the snow and cold outside. I like your choice of using silhouettes - to me that adds to the ambience and that feeling of warmth. Photographically it also keeps good detail outside.

Very nice. I like the detail in the floor, the sense of space and meditative reflection.
