In a word: no. It looks cheap and badly organized. You have stuff going on all over the place and a lot of it seems like an afterthought like you needed to put it somewhere, so why not (t)here?
Like the email address is way out there, the phone number is under the name with your web address and your 'genre' section is over there. It just doesn't connect.
The picture is OK but i can't decide if the bag is coming to him, or he threw it away, but I suppose it's immaterial either way. I really hope you lose the glow around the letters, that looks very bad and again, looks cheap. Yes it was cool in the 90s, but it isn't now.
On a business card you should put relevent info together: in this case, your web address, phone number and email should be close together. I would revert to putting photographer under your name, or putting photography after your name so people know what the hell they're looking at/looking for in their wallet.
It kinda feels like the top is immensely cluttered and the bottom quarter is empty. Use the bottom bit- the leaves at the bottom aren't as interesting as you'd think and I would move the seniors, weddings bit to a single line along the bottom, or put your contact info in a single line at the bottom.
You've used a big horizontal space by putting your name really big- echo that design choice by using horizontal lines throughout the rest of the card. You have a bunch of verticals, horizontals, diagonals and different fonts all over the place and it just does not work. You have a design choice you can use for the rest of the card to give it structure and balance, and at the moment this has none. |
Awesome thoughts, I'm glad I posted this before I printed them hahaha, I'll redesign and post the new version. |

I would delete "photography by" since it is too small anyway at b-card size. I'd put "sports, seniors" etc on the back of the card, not the front. I'd put "photographer" as the main word apart from your name and your email address and phone number on the front of the card. Otherwise, I like the included photo - which says a lot. |
Thank you for the input, I will print out two versions before I order to see about the "photography by". As far as listing the types of photography on the back, My last card had it all on the back but you don't know the number of times I have written something on the backs of my cards and just didn't have the room I needed. There will be something on the back but at the bottom and very small just so I can keep that space to jot notes, say something to the client, make the business card into a coupon or whatever else I can do with it, hahaha.
As far as fonts, I kept it pretty simple, I find that 1 font is plain and boring but more than 3 is needy and sloppy. If I remove the photography by it will bring it down to 2 which is good. By the way the 2 main fonts are actually the same font name but one is a medium and the other is a bold. It's also the same font that is on the rest of my advertisements. |

I think it would have looked better if you would have used lights instead of software to create this look. With lighting it looks more natural. | Photographer found comment helpful. |
