Thanks!

For lighting (as with all of my shots) I use alienbees strobes... they are Awesome!

I use a B800 strobe with a 24x36 softbox... I used a method that Mike_Adams found on the web and showed me the video for... turns out that it was a LOT harder than I had thought... the principal is simple though... just set up your camera with a long exposure (long enough for the city lights... like 20 seconds)... this is the fun part... get your strobe and battery pack strapped around your shoulder, walk around the car in a circle and push the test button on the flash at full power as you walk around it... you can pop it from all different angles as many times as you want... it acts as though you have basically 5 lights set up around the car because you can pop your flash in all 5 positions of the car... front, back, top left, top right, and side... the VERY tricky part is that you, or the soft box can NEVER be between the car and the camera or you will end up with ghosts in the shot... try it.... it's VERY tricky =) took about 50 tries to get to a point where all of the ghosts were gone... When we got there, the club was open (who'd a thought it would be open on a Monday night...) we talked to the manager of the club and he was very nice, he let us go into the parking lot for free to do the shoot...

Thanks for the comments and fav's!

Special thanks to my Dad for being very patient in the freezing cold parking lot and many thanks to Mike_Adams for showing me the video on how to do this shot =)

please PM me if you have any questions =)

Reminds me of the Beach Boys "Little Deuce Coup." Love the car, the setting, the processing and the photo.
