A New Leafby Pete02tComment: Nice composition, a bit of compression around the plants, but not that noticeable. Intriguing background |

Crossingby timj351Comment: Difficult framing pulled off nicely. How did this look in color? I'm not sure b&w is the best for this, but I do like the darkness in the cars, putting more emphasis on the horizon and what awaits the travellers |

sea the rocksby mnewmanComment: Nice job! Good focus on the rocks, I like the earth to sea transition |

One-Way Ticketby TrickyBuddhaComment: Play on words here? --transit~transition-- Would have been better if the bus wasn't so cropped. The sky is nice looking, but, as I found to be the case in my submission, its a bit distracting |

Fire & Iceby mciComment: Nice shot, what's burning? Is the fire a reflection? |

Got Butter?by karmatComment: I like this shot, though I think a different colored background would have helped bring out the color in the popcorn. Did you apply sharpening to this? It seems a bit strong. Score: 8 |

Past to Present at Horseshoe Curveby MaverickComment: Thanks for all the comments. I wasn't sure my transition would get across...Manic, you got it. As for the picture itself, I don't think it is underexposed. The actual engine is black, and it was raining when I took this (hence the bright sky and the fading hills). |

2 in 1: as the little night light wains the big lights turnsby rampbComment: The darkness accentuates the bright colors of the lights, but it doesn't do much for the detail of the shot. Not much to look at here, (I am looking at it without any glare on my screen, still hard to see much else in the picture). Also, the moon (I think that is what it is) to the right distrats from the image. Maybe if you had been able to take a different angle, in which it would be in say the top right corner, it would be better. |
