Daisy-0031by RedDotComComment: Sweet! One of the top three of Week #1...IMHO! If this was in a challenge, I'd vote it a 10! A second thought would not be needed! Great Photo! :) |

Weee k 1by SonifoComment: Girls: "We're having great fun in the snow, Mom! Wish you were he...., O, Hello, Mom! Won't you join us! We think you could enjoy the ride better if you nose wasn't on my belly!"
Mom: "I didn't know!"
Girls: "BTY,...Something about our luge technique doesn't seem quite right!"
LOL! Great fun! Excellent photo! What a great & fun Mommy! :) |

Week 04by hajekaComment: What? You mean this isn't the typical day in the average home?
Dad: "Do it because I said so! Go! Up to your rooms...Now!"
Tweens: "Hol' up! Hol' up! Hol' up! I think Dad's talking to us! What's you say, Dad?"
It would be funny if it wasn't so close to the truth. :(
The photo, however, is great! I agree,...the moment and expressions are priceless. :) |

Week1 - Is It Feeding Time Yet?by CapeSailComment: LOL on the horse's expression. Here's your possible tag line for an ad, "Here just in time for Winter '08, the latest trench coat from Abercrombie & Hitch! There are no stupid equestrians! Just equestrians yet unasked!" :}
(Thanks for a little latitude on my levity! My brain seems to think easily in phunny expressions for phaces in photos.) :} Excellent job BTY! :) |

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment: Excellent moody photo! You might try to duplicate layer, then max-out the contrast for purpose of template to separate between model & wires. Could aid removal. At any rate...Great as is! :) |

Graveyardby kolasiComment: Nice strong lines that show the complete life-cycle of life (upper-half) to death (lower-half.) Nice hyper-focal distance! (The brightness of the day helped your hyper-focal distance by closing down the iris to a larger F-Stop number. That has always been weird to me F/22=smallest opening, and F/2-massive opening! Go figure!) :) Message edited by author 2008-01-27 10:36:15. |

Henna by AliciaComment: This is some magnificent henna! (My wife introduced me to that art with a book she purchased.) Congratulations to the artist! He or she is quite adept!
You have captured it nicely!
1. Just a thought...you might be surprised by the use of macro setting (on the end of a 300mm lens, like I have!) I have done some macros on that setting, and it's the difference between fine-tuning and coarse adjustment on old B/W TV's.
2. Maybe it's just me, but I think that highlighting the forearms with Magic Wand or Polygonal Lasso, and then decreasing the brightness would improve the "draw of the eyes" to the hands. (Hope that is beneficial!)
Much success to you this year! :) |
