I like the way you showed a portion of his face rather than the whole thing.
It's top-notch in every respect except that... (IMO) it doesn't show poverty.

In the Hollerby Prof_FateComment: Maybe the photo size requirements got you with this one. The setting is too beautiful and run-down-ness of the house is barely visible from the distance you took the shot. although beautiful - Not quite a strong enough representation of the challenge. |

I like how you didn't have him centered in the photo.
By shooting from a distance he looks small and insignificant, which is how society prefers their poor, it makes them so much easier to ignore. |
