My 1st consideration when judging a photo is how closely it relates to the
challenge topic, next originality and photo technique & quality are equally
judged.

Good Shot, on topic and nice textures

It's a bit too tightly cropped for my liking but otherwise a good shot. Nice colours and definition.

Very good entry with a very unique tree formation. Good diffuse light.

Completely natural and unusual. Nice depth of field. Wonder what the picture would be like in a more square format where the "points" of the star didn't hit the edges of the picture?

Its certainly bizarre - shame you couldnt isolate the background more.

Wow. This is more like a sculpture than something in nature, which makes this shot perfect for the challenge. I like how crisp it looks. Good job. 9

Finally a picture that meets the challenge in my opinion with good detail, color, and focus; However the sky is a little burned out and the boarder imo is overpowering, but still a good photo.

Beautiful peace... tree and leaves... just not sure why you croped so tight.

Fits the challenge well. I think it is framed just a little bit too tight. Part of the tree is cut off on the right and close to it on left and top.

Lighting is a bit harsh. Otherwise great capture.

nice find! the right end of the star is cropped out though, and perhaps stepping back and including it in the picture would have helped the composition.
