Great macro with wonderful details, shades and light, and composition that flows from the curves and the lines. Well shot!

I like the narrow DoF here, and the slightly chaotic feel, with sand on the bus as well as the bus in the sand; like it's stuck, wheel's spinning, sand flying, only digging itself in deeper -- like the story of my life :) Nicely shot.

Nicely composed, and well chosen subject. The grain does add something to it (and the grunge look is very "in" these days, isn't it?). Fits well here.

Cool, an ordinary object made mysterious and far more interesting. Good choices on b&w and using grain with some lighting that really adds to the image's effect on the viewer.

Nicely seen and composed, with excellent macro effect (ie, that we see something big that's usually little, and that's pretty interesting). I, too, like the line of copper on the left; gives it some context.

First, I like the shot; there are good tones throughout and the B&W works well here. I agree that the center post should probably be vertical, but I also think a slightly wider DoF might strengthen it. You have an "in-focus" area going from just left of center top down toward the middle, where it starts to fade. Either placing this in-focus area in the upper left "thirds" zone, or making it run full vertical top to bottom might make this a little more natural and effective for me. I like the subject matter here, and the way it's presented, so nothing to add there; it has a nice, fluid feeling from the lines and the angle of the clasp.

Good image with nice lighting that accents the subject; I agree a lighter background might have allowed the doll to be seen more, but the dark works well for emphasizing her face a bit more.

Neat abstract here; I like the additions you've made, especially as you had a clear idea and direction and executed it well.

So much feeling in this image, even without the story (which was a nice touch); perfect sharpness in the wire, but great use of depth of field to emphasize the worn aspects. Nice, neutral background helps, too. Excellent.

Cool shot; I see a person coming out of the water as opposed to getting ready to dive. Nice how you've put it in a position that allows people to see it differently.
