 The grain happened during processing, and I thought it kind of gave an edgy, different treatment to this very ordinary object.

Cool. At first glance when I saw the grain I just thought everything was a bit grimy -- reminded me of the switch on the wall of the bathroom at the mechanics' shop where my dad worked when I was a girl. ;-) You're right, though; the grain adds a lot of interest. Edgy is a good word.

Nicely composed, and well chosen subject. The grain does add something to it (and the grunge look is very "in" these days, isn't it?). Fits well here.

I like the composition, the grain is effective though heavy. This makes me want to send paper towels and spray cleaner. ;-)

I like how the switch is down in the corner. It leaves all that empty space to contemplate. Nice color and processing.
