It is... in my native language (portuguese) match is "fosforo" (reads almost like "phosphorous") so I can see the connection... and yes your picture is striking. Nice.

No fire, just smoke. I know, I know. Where there's smoke, there's fire. But, call me a fundamentalist, I expect to see flames in this challenge. Other than that, the pic is really nice, with the tree providing a natural framing that could almost stand on its own without any other subject.
Note: didn't vote you down for DNMC... I guess it half meets the challenge, so...

Forest fires... probably the ugliest of all fires (also can be spectacularly ugly). The pic is more focused on the smoke and is rather dark overall.
