My childhood hero is only worth a dime.by jimsappComment: I don't like the title (not that that affects the score, just an observation), but this is a really good coin shot. I imagine there'll be quite a few this week, but this is particularly well lit and presented. |

CLose to the Shuttleby bondrockComment: I'm not normally too picky about meeting the challenge, but this isn't really "close", is it...? It's an OK picture of the shuttle, but not exceptional (although I'll be honest, if *I* got to go and see a launch I'd be tempted to try and make the photos fit whatever that week's challenge was too...) |

Unicorn and Foalby Gracechild7Comment: I'm not sure that the unicorn and foal have enough fine detail to repay the effort you've obviously put into setting up this shot. I really like what you've done with the feather base/background, though. |

Legend or Not?by indigo997Comment: Hollywood can, indeed, make some things pretty darn global in reach. An original approach and technically spot on and well composed too. Very effective image - great job! |

Confucious Say ....by ShiiizzzamComment: The best execution of what turned out to be a popular subject. Great composition and depth of field choices. Easily a 10 (although I did give out more than normal this week). |

Bloodcup: Drink of Strength and Spirtby AnachroniteComment: Pretty good composition and sharpness, but the whole image seems a bit dark and flat (at least on my monitor) - would have liked to see this lighter or with a bit more sontrast and a little more saturation. |

The Monster, the Myth, the Legendby sg10Comment: Congratulations! You are an early beneficiary of my new "make me laugh out loud, win a bonus point" voting policy. The background seems a bit distracting - perhaps a smaller depth of field would have helped? But then, fur can be a real pain to shoot with a limited depth of field. |

A Tricky Treatby alanfreedComment: Good concept and composition - I think the overall image would have greater impact if the apple seemed fresher to contrast with the razor blade, though (although I realise that if you take as many shots as I do this would involve having about a billion "backup" apples on hand). |

Make a wishby ParentxComment: Admittedly I gave more 10s than normal this week, but this was an easy choice for one of them. Good choice of subject, well composed to make good use of negative space, and I like the lighting. |

Take me to your leader!by jenaromComment: A salutary lesson for those of us who think we don't have the space of equipment to do elaborate shoots for challenges! This is a really great approach to the subject, imaginatively tackled to create a striking shot. Very well done. |
