The Monster, the Myth, the Legendby sg10Comment: Congratulations! You are an early beneficiary of my new "make me laugh out loud, win a bonus point" voting policy. The background seems a bit distracting - perhaps a smaller depth of field would have helped? But then, fur can be a real pain to shoot with a limited depth of field. |

A Tricky Treatby alanfreedComment: Good concept and composition - I think the overall image would have greater impact if the apple seemed fresher to contrast with the razor blade, though (although I realise that if you take as many shots as I do this would involve having about a billion "backup" apples on hand). |

Make a wishby ParentxComment: Admittedly I gave more 10s than normal this week, but this was an easy choice for one of them. Good choice of subject, well composed to make good use of negative space, and I like the lighting. |

Take me to your leader!by jenaromComment: A salutary lesson for those of us who think we don't have the space of equipment to do elaborate shoots for challenges! This is a really great approach to the subject, imaginatively tackled to create a striking shot. Very well done. |

Luck of the Irishby DougPazComment: Great interpretation of the challenge, good composition and lighting... looks like another 10 from me (I seem to be giving out more than normal this week for some reason). |

Keeping your fingers crossedby jjbeguinComment: Admittedly I gave more 10s than normal this week, but this was a shoe-in for one of them. Really great composition and technically spot on. |

The Hookby connieComment: Good to see a real urban legend getting a look in. This has been beautifully thought out and set up. Was going to give it a 9 because I've given out a lot of 10s this week but what the heck... 10 from me. Great job. |

Salt Seahorseby rll07Comment: Admittedly I gave more 10s than normal this week, but this was always going to be one of them. Extra kudos for providing an original viewpoint on what turned out to be a popular superstition. I like the choice of composition in the final image, and all the red really adds something. |

Don't touch yourself, you'll go blindby HectorComment: Very well composed and posed, and a very good interpretation of the challenge. I might possibly have preferred it with a TINY amount more contrast, although it's pretty much spot on already. Very impressive. |
