Good idea, and obviously a photo like this is likely to need to be staged, but I find this particular shot just too obviously phony. Perhaps if you'd played around with the composition some more your models would have loosened up and you'd have got a more effective final image?

Good photo of a simple concept. Personally I think the title doesn't really work, but that's just me...

A good idea. The highlights seem a bit blown to me, though.

This is a great concept and a refreshingly original approach. The shapes and colours are absolutely spot-on; a definite 10 from me.

One of my pictures of the week - great composition, very well lit, spot-on DOF - can't help wondering how many cans you had to crush in pursuit of the ideal shape...?

Looks like the original may have been a great shot, but as posted here it looks way overcompressed. Perhaps you should check your JPEG save settings? I like the composition and idea.

Great colours and composition. Makes an appealing shot of garbage without going for the "prettification" option.

Possibly the most original approach to the subject this week, and also a technically spot-on and aesthetically intriguing image that sticks in the mind. Very impressive...

I love the composition of this shot, and the human interest and sense of scale provided by the people in the shot. The area around them is very JPEG artifacty, though - it doesn't look as though you are anywhere near the 150K limit, so perhaps you could tweak your JPEG quality settings?
