Not sure if this is really a superstition, as it is a belief or tradition. I guess it just depends on which side of the fence you're on, so I'll just comment on the technical aspects. I think the focus is great. Lighting is also very nice, and the angle and framing/cropping are good as well. I might say I wish I could see more of the fortune, but it still gets the point across nicely. Overall a great shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

The best execution of what turned out to be a popular subject. Great composition and depth of field choices. Easily a 10 (although I did give out more than normal this week).

The best of the fortune cookie shots. I would have never believed there would be as many as there are. Good macro, looks like you are ready to go this week. I like the color and lighting as well. Overall, very good shot. DPz

Hmm... wonder where I've seen this one before. Not too sure how well it applies to the challenge, but it's still an excellent image. seasick - 9.
