Familyby krytaComment: I like the concept on this one. I might steal it for one of our family shoot.
I'd like to see better exposure on the hands balenced with the Sun(?).
Good luck. |

Five Seconds After "Cheese"by TCGuruComment: I like their expressions. This makes me think I shouldn't force a smile in my shots. There is so much more expression than a smile can bring.
I like the way your subjects are positioned.
Great shot. Good luck. |

Goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by btrinhComment: Wow. Looks like a baseball card (well, hocky card, but you get the point). I like the border technique.
Nice capture. I don't think it'll do well since people normally don't think of sports as group shots, but I like it.
Good luck. |

sisterly love.by amandapaige119Comment: There were a few beach/ocean shots and you've gotten the lighting correct. The lighting on subjects is well balenced with the background lighting.
I know I might get bashed for this (concidering one of them looks like a minor), but, except for the girl on the left, I'm drawn to their breasts. Maybe it's the white and orange tops that draws my eyes or maybe it's the testosterone in me. I don't know. I should be drawn to the eyes, but their eyes are in shadow and their breast aren't (so maybe it's not the testosterone in me).
Nice shot. Good luck. |

Native Hopeby elizadebComment: Pretty good shot.
I don't like the composition nor the harsh lighting. That photoshop technique you did I don't understand at all. I can't even explain it and I don't understand how or what it adds to the photo.
Sorry, I don't get it. Try again.
(cute kids tho) |

The Blondes And Iby ColeyComment: Wow, powerful shot. I really like the contrast between the blondes and the non-blonde. I'm really drawn to the non-blonde's eyes since there's a great contrast between the smiling (blonde) faces and the dark stare of the non-blonde.
Well done and I hope others get the shot. |

A day at the beachby ashoffComment: Nice picture.
Another picture had the same problem this one does (and beach pictures are hard to do because of this). The background is lit better than your subjects (the people). Your subject have some pretty harsh shadows.
Check out some tips on taking beach pictures.
Good luck. |

The White Familyby Shea927Comment: Nice shot.
Your subjects look a little out of focus tho. Maybe the focus is good, but my attention is drawn to the background instead of your subjects. Since the viewer's eyes are drawn to the most lit areas, your intended subject (the people) don't become the main focus.
Of course, if that was your intent (have the backgroud brighter than your subject), then please disregard.
Good luck. |

Sistahsby whiteroomComment: I like the grain/noise in this shot. I also like the expressions on each of their faces. Their faces each say something different. The title also sets the tone nicely.
I have nothing to add to help you with this. I'm giving you top scores.
Good luck. |

My Girlsby NobodyComment: Beautiful capture.
I really like the expression on the girl on the right. It could be a nice smile, or a look of "I'm up to trouble and know it." Plus, for some reason, the lighting's smoother on her face. Your wife and littlest have shinny skin. I thought the only way to do this was with makeup.
I also like the way they are grouped with the youngest on the bottom and your wife on top.
Good luck. I'm giving you top scores. |
