The choice of background here I think would've helped to provide some separation at the top of the plant (I think it's a plant) with the white being around the edges and all. The plant itself looks excellent, well focused and lit. - Inspzil

This image has a very surreal quality too it, like the flower was stuck on another picture. The flower is uncommonly sharp btw. Nice shot. I had my doubts looking at the thumbnail. The only thing about this shot is that it isn't real tight on the flower, but nonethess, it's a cool image - Inspzil

A little dark at the top of this one, and a little bright at the bottom. I'm not really sure what it is, but there is lots of detail that is pretty well captured. I think that a little more closeup shot would be a little better for this challenge - Inspzil

So far, the most original shot I've seen. The light is good, DOF, focus are all pretty well done. The thing I see this lacking is some sort of focal point. It could have been done with some subtlety and I'm not seeing it, or it should've been done a little more consciously so that we viewers are not running our eyes around the shot over and over and over. - Inspzil

Incredible capture!! I don't know how much res. you had to work with to crop this just so the two opponents were shown. The foreground is pretty out of focus, which is a major bummer but the bugs are great. If a few minor details could've been worked out, this would be a sure 10. Nice job anyway - Inspzil
