Shame you can't submit the same photo for two challenges. Makes a good technology shot. Good sharp focus. Would have liked a lighter background personally. But this does fram the "part" well. Good crop. Good focus - can even read the marking on the unit it self. Good solid 9. PTL

nice color...composition is too centered...i would have gotten closer and pic a certain part of the object to focus on...6

Overall I really like this but I would like it much better rotated CCW a degree or two.

Very nice. Would be great for next weeks "TECHNOLOGY" category.

I wonder how a different lighting could have improved this shot.

Something about the composition on this bothers me ... possibly that it's not straight but isn't at enough of an angle to look "deliberately not straight"? Or possibly that the overall shape isn't interesting enough to justify the negative space framing against the black background, but is distracting enough to divert attention away from some of the interesting details in the shot? I think the shot might have been improved by moving in/cropping in closer on a detail section (depending on what your camera features and resolution are like, of course). Sorry this is a bit rambling - I've decided that this week I'm never going to manage to vote on all the entries, so I'm trying to leave detailed comments on the ones that I *do* get to.

A little dark at the top of this one, and a little bright at the bottom. I'm not really sure what it is, but there is lots of detail that is pretty well captured. I think that a little more closeup shot would be a little better for this challenge - Inspzil

Good subject, I would have prefered a tighter crop on the parts. It is slightly over exposed in the reflection area.
