day 11 - chasing.jpgby rachelellenComment: Who cares about minor errors! This is clever and fun. And did you say this was handheld? Very nicely done. The children are very cute trying so seriously to stay on path. |

day 8 - PIT bellby rachelellenComment: I got your cranky... I can recommend a good diet for you if the cranky has worn off and you want to get it back.
(Nice shot too. I like the way you put the diagonal line through and kept it off-set. Well done)

Day 11 - Mottled Duckby BAMartinComment: I'm with everyone else. I really like the background waterfall/fountain. Also, Mr. Duck has some interesting markings on him (could be Ms. Duck I suppose). He/she is a unique subject.
Nice shot.

Day 11 - Little Red Bugby bs-photosComment: He has his little head cocked to one side as if he were posing for you. Very nice shot and well framed. It looks as if he's just out enjoying the sun after a rain.

Day 11 Big Air At Sports Dayby jonfrommkComment: Great story and great pics. Here in the States we'd say: "You-da-man!"
It's nice to realize that the hassles we face for our kids pale in comparison to the joy they bring us.

Day-10.jpgby KenComment: It's a good story and a great image. I don't think over processed at all. The colors are rich and clean, and the tiny detail is captivating.
Great shot.

day-10-Austintatious.jpgby suitenessComment: Sometimes "technically good" photos are still lacking a sense of capture. This image really gives the feeling you describe. It took me in, and I liked it- looking all around for all the little gems that are there. I didn't notice that it could use a little PP tweaking until I read your post.
I see the guy with the laptop (as you mentioned); and then there's the lady with her arms crossed, standing hip deep off to the left (wonder what she's thinking..). And you can't ignore the older gent (with the white bulging belly) out a little deeper on the right, standing in funny contrast next to the man with a little color and muscle definition. Finally, of course, you have to notice the pretty woman in the white dress in the foreground, walking barefoot toward the water.
Captivating.
Thanks for posting.

Day 9 Behold... A Sunsetby TCGuruComment: One of the many reasons I decided to live in Tennessee. We get astonished from time to time. Is this Dayton? Or is it somewhere nearby. My favorite place to go used to be the back of Walden's Ridge, as it backs into the rear valley of Pocket.
Beautiful land, beautiful sky. you captured it perfectly. |
