Vanish into The Darknessby Lone_WolfComment: Hello from the Critique Club
First Reaction
Needs better lighting
Technically
A little out of focus and too much light on the top and nothing to draw you into the cave.
Composition
Interesting idea and setup
Meets the Challenge
No, nothing vanishing here.
You should go back and retake the picture again, get a better focus, try different angles and lighting. This could be a very interesting picture.
Thanks for allowing me to critique your photo.
Keep shooting and have fun.

Into the stratosphereby SinCityCyclopsComment: Hello from the Critique Club
First Reaction
Like the lights and angle
Technically
Well shot, good focus, lighting works, no grainy feel for shooting 1600
Composition
Is interesting but I dont see the vanishing point only because the building flattens out at the top which stops the eye. It should lead me right out of the frame.
Maybe cropping the top would have helped.. Not sure through.
Over all it is a nice photograph but just not for this challenge
Thanks for allowing me to critique your photo.
Keep shooting and have fun.

Dixie Porch Loungersby posthumousComment: Hello from the Critique Club
First Impression,
Look like a country cover.
Technically.Nice details, door looks a little grainy compared to the rest of the picture.
Composition.
I like the set up of the picture, has an old feel to it. I would have like to have more porch roof in the picture.
Editing.. Feel just a little dark, could have used some color on the guitar.. with the advanced editing.
Over all a good picture and nice finish. Congrats
Best of luck in future challenges.

Imminent Crash Landingby smellyfish1002Comment: Hello from the Critique Club
First Impression is OUCH!
Technically, Sharp, a little shine on the back drop, but otherwise ok.
Composition, I would have perfered the shot from a different angle, probably not possible. Could have had a tighter crop.
Editing, can not really tell if you did anymore than desat.
Overall, this reminds me of photojournalism shot, would do well in the local paper.
Best of luck with Olympic shooting, that must be very exciting

Stole Secondby ryant35Comment: Hello from the Critique Club
First Reaction Oh no, there go the pants... Actually I said Nice. Even though I am a Nationals fan!
Technically
Good lighting, nice DOF, and focus, nice stop action, love that he is in air. Great color
Composition is good, not sure that I care what base he is heading for, we know he is sliding somewhere, and the ball must be close behind.
I like the crowd in the background.
Nice all around picture, and congrats!
Thanks for allowing me to critique your photo.
Keep shooting and have fun.
