First Reaction Oh no, there go the pants... Actually I said Nice. Even though I am a Nationals fan!

Technically
Good lighting, nice DOF, and focus, nice stop action, love that he is in air. Great color

Composition is good, not sure that I care what base he is heading for, we know he is sliding somewhere, and the ball must be close behind.
I like the crowd in the background.

Nice all around picture, and congrats!

All right, here is the thing.

this is an ok image. I just say ok because you have left out part of the story...the ending.

I know this is baseball. I know he is about to slide. But, slide to what? Second? Third? Home? The dugout? The hot dog stand? His car? What?

Comp could be tighter, too much negative space on bottom and right of frame, great color, good capture but not a crisp capture, excellent emotional value, excellent dof, story telling poor, over all try again
