Cracked Bubblesby WillaComment: Your item definitely shows its age, but the framing makes it difficult to tell what it is. Also, a little sharpening of the picture would have brought out all the aging indicators (cracks, bubbling paint, etc.) Controlled lighting would also have helped this picture. |

The old ladies homeby AzrifelComment: Nice shot of a building that must be old .. but.... This building and its artifacts have been maintained so wonderfully that they don't readily show "age." |

ancient fossilby magnetic9999Comment: I repeatedly throughout the week kept asking myself, "What is old AND shows its age AND yet is graceful to view. I came up blank. You didn't. Congrats. Maybe a few more moments considering composition & lighting would have pushed this one to the top. |

passengerby CheetahComment: I have looked at this picture at least a half dozen times. I rated it right away, but over the past two days I kept telling myself, "I must say SOMETHING about this picture." Problem is, I wanted my comment to be well-thought-out. So, here goes: Light & color (in my opinion) are a photographer's best friends. Your use of light to catch the fading color of this very old passenger car (train) shows you know your friends very well. |

Things of Grandma Brown, 1876 - 1966by jimsappComment: Now here's a picture of a camera that even non-photographers can readily tell is "old." The rust on metal, the wear-marks on the black parts and the worn leather strap are all indicators of age. A closer shot of the camera alone would have been great. |

Generations Pastby vonnie1956Comment: Nice composition. The pictures are obviously old. I see some tell-tail signs of it. You could have hit a home run with this shot it you had maybe emphasized the flaws in the pictures more. |

78 rpmby floydComment: Nicely framed shot. Light is just right. Unfortunately, the subject does not "look" old. In fact, it is in better condition than my Beetles albums. |

Where the Bigshots Work!by PeltzComment: I rate this picture highly for several reasons. The theme was Corporate World. You captured both words. Had you shot only one bldg, the message would not have been conveyed as well. Next, the angle of the shot beatifully captures lines and angles. The two bldgs in the foreground almost appear to be leaning toward each other. |
