Boscs and Gourdby mcmurmaComment: The "old world, Columbus-sailed-around-the-world" look. What is that container? I very much like the golden tone of this setting. |

Greenby DazzermasComment: I like nearly everything about this picture. The focus is just right. I like the framing. The color is wonderful, even though it is "just" green. To improve the picture I would suggest using a softer lighting to prevent the glare. Also, a spotlight on the stem would have prevented to dominent darkness there. It is possible that you intended that darkness, I don't know. |

Kiwiby jcofComment: I guess the blur was intentional, but it actually is very hard on my eyes. |

Twist of Limeby jkiolbasaComment: Very interesting (in a positive way) use of background color. It really complements the fruit. |

Get off me, man!by maknbaconComment: I've never been good at doing a b/w or even knowing what to look for in a b/w candidate. The tonal ranges here are good, there is nothing "blown out" (just learned that term) nor unappealingly too dark. Still, I don't think the subjects were a good candidate for b/w. Technically it is good picture, but the artistic appeal is not of the caliber that would make me want to frame it. |

A Cup of Berriesby TerryGeeComment: when I see (wonderful) shots like this, I realize that I'm just trying too hard. "Elegant and simple. Elegant and simple" I've got to remember that! |

Mad as a fruit cake ?by marcvgComment: Burmuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama. Key Lago, Montego, baby why don't we go..... Your submission is very clear and colorful and creative. I was at Barnes and Nobles the other day and found a calendar dedicated to this type of 'art'. Their examples were better than any I've ever seen. |
