This does not represent poverty at all, imo.

Beautiful model, pretty expressive. I would move the camera more to the right, making sure what looks like a street light is not there. It's a nice reflection, but i think more of the frame space should be given to the lady herself, rather than to her reflection. Perhaps using a shallower dof would make the portrait a little softer and more appealing too, but it would help blur the too-distinct buildings on the background... To sum it up, i like the picture, but purely technical shortcomings undermine its appeal. 7.

If the photo was actually telling some kind of a story about these guys, show them doing something other than posing (the left 2) and being bored (the right 2), it may have been a good picture. As it is, it is probably ok for the family album... As far as technical part, the frame seems a little too tight for the characters, and i definitely don't like the feet cut off at the bottom. On the bright side, these gus are all characters, no doubt. Especially like the girl with orange hair and the guy next to her. Sorry... 5.

I think a wider lens should have been used for this shot. As it is, something is pretty unbalanced about the composition. Otherwise, i love this.8.

7 for the sense of humor. Technically, the photo leaves much to be desired.

Nice example when a title actually adds something to the picture.

The excellent composition saves this shot from being very mediocre. Not sure about the focus on the nose, if you have a version with focus on the eyes it would be interesting to compare the two. 8.

This is an example where the title spoils everything :( It would have been so good not to know what it is.

This is gorgeous, and the different colors in the bg are making the shot. They are conveying the impression of other multiple flowers and things being there too, without sharply pointing them out, so that everyone can think of whatever they want. So i completely disagree with e301's comment about that.
