Our photography plans for the afternoon were interupted by bad weather, so we roamed through downtown looking for interesting light. I liked the strong lines, soft light, and reflections in this window, so we took a few shots and then moved on. This particular image caught my attention because Katies reflection is superimposed on the buildings, cars and signal lights of the street outside the window. The fact that Katie only occupies a third of the frame relative to the clutter outside the window seemed appropriate for what I hoped would be more of an environmental portrait.

Very pretty shot. The focus is nice and the reflection in the glass is a reall attribute to this portrait.

I think this is great. The look is almost sincere, but the stuff she's got in her hand- (or the fluffiness of the dress) is distracting. I like the green and red dots and the getting dark/raining outside- you captured the mood perfectly.

The reflection in the window doesn't do very much for this photo imo, if you would have cropped the photo maybe square or vertical, this photo would improve, but it's also very nice as it is.

Nice portrait with a interesting half reflection. I don't think the green and red spots add to the photo, I would have cloned them out.

Beautiful model, pretty expressive. I would move the camera more to the right, making sure what looks like a street light is not there. It's a nice reflection, but i think more of the frame space should be given to the lady herself, rather than to her reflection. Perhaps using a shallower dof would make the portrait a little softer and more appealing too, but it would help blur the too-distinct buildings on the background... To sum it up, i like the picture, but purely technical shortcomings undermine its appeal. 7.

Like the pose, like the composition. The reflection in the window is a bit distracting.

The window lighting is really good...... neat soft skin. Superior composition - angle of the arm and angle of the window sill together draw the eye toward the face and reflection . I would have considered cropping tighter and minimized exposure under the arm.
