| The original story is about poverty, and you've got a great picture here. I just think that there's something about her that does not look poor at all to me. It gives me the impression of a college kid relaxing by the tree... she looks happy, relaxed, and with no worries. |

| NIcely setup shot, very nice expression, a few holes in the blanket would have provided more impact, she does not look quite poor! Still a nice take on the theme. 9 |

| Beautiful, dreamlike picture of a lovely young lady! I get the idea you were going for, but I don't think there's enough "poverty" here for the challenge. Perhaps if the blanket was threadbare or the sweater was a little more worn... |

| nice shot (especially the light burst) but the girl doesn't look poverty stricken. She has really nice make up and looks like nice clothes; even the blanket is clean. |

| Doesn't quite evoke images of poverty for me with such a clean, white sweater and fashionably cut hair. But the mysticism that surrounds it makes it seem that she is beyond that. Lovely color, focus and lighting. |

| um.. Poverty? I'm sorry but I get magic elf long before I get poverty from this. It's a good picture and a very nice image. But it doesn't read as poverty to me. |
