nice idea, taking such an ordinary household object and seeing it as its own universe. can't say i'm absolutely thrilled with the hue, but all the same, it's not unpleasant.

there's a lot of potential with this, but i think this particular edition needs work. i don't think the shallow dof really helps, and the lighting is a bit harsh. the eye, especially its color, is killer, though.

i'm going to predict this winding up around a 5.1 or worse. it's a nice idea, but it needs work, especially as a challenge entry. you can't just point your camera at something. this is no reason to quit, but a reason to really look at the other entries to see what you could have done differently to have made this work for you.

great idea, composition. horrible, horrible colors. even in basic, you could have shifted the hues and made this into something more inviting and mystical...

maybe an interesting idea, but the colors are not that inviting and are actually rather hard on the eyes. when you set something like this up, you need to ask yourself, is this something i'd like to see all the time? if it doesn't really grab you, then maybe try something else...
