Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro

 Okay, so it's not such a great picture. It was taken 20 minutes before rollover. So I used what I had available to me... some Ramon Noodles and my lighting with gels over them.

Shot with the 100mm macro lens, even at f/16 there wasn't much depth of field.

Lighting:
580EX Master (not contributing to exposure)
420EX Slave on the left with a red gel
550EX slave on the right with a green gel

PP: convert from raw, crop, sharpen, add border.

This image has a subject but could use some sharpness. That's the beauty of Macro Photography to me... being able to see textures that ordinarily unnoticed.

Very cool colours, good curves, composition. Might need more DOF as most of the photo is not in focus, but that's not entirely a bad thing. Not sure what this is!

maybe an interesting idea, but the colors are not that inviting and are actually rather hard on the eyes. when you set something like this up, you need to ask yourself, is this something i'd like to see all the time? if it doesn't really grab you, then maybe try something else...
