Citrus Drinkby MaYzComment: I love it - Great detail and color. not only does it meet the challenge, but it meets next weeks challenge as well. Are you going to re-shoot this for next week? / of course you'll have to pay the fly for a second shoot. What does a fly charge for a shoot like this? Did you find him in the window and put him here? This is incredible, good luck, Gotcha 9 |

A Cup of Berriesby TerryGeeComment: Great shot. I keep looking for, and wanting to see the bowl. I don't know if you tried a few shots like that, I'd love to see them. The color is great. Good Luck, Gotcha 8 |

contemporary tomato voodooby hudzComment: This is odd, The lighting is a little hard. backing off slightly might help to hide the background as well. DOF is a little shallow for my taste, it makes this appear out of focus. - good luck |

Strawberry Wineby DougPazComment: This is very well done. I don?t care for the reflection on the left side of the bottom glass and I want to see the bottom of it. (perhaps a shorter style glass) Great color and clarity. ? 9 Gotcha |

Hide me, she has a knife!by JEFFCOWLESComment: This is a fun shot, the title works well here. Excellent choice of greens (with purple highlights). The white balance is good but the flash is just a little harsh in spots. Nice composition and use of the rule of 3rds. Good Luck, Gotcha |

Exclusionby jmsetzlerComment: This is truly a piece of art. The grain is unquestionably intentional and adds volumes to the surreal setting. The blur of the bar counter is showing incredible control without distortion to the subjects near and far. The harsh lighting and the positioning add an artsy look to a seemingly old atmosphere. Truly a masterful shot. Congrats on one of my favorites for this challenge. I fear the masses may not give this the credit it deserves. The voters tend to be a little hard on blur, grain and Black/White ? all of the same elements I commend you on for this shot. Good Luck, Gotcha |

an old woman in the train by hudzComment: Congrats, You really pulled this one off. There are many Candid shots in the challenge, but few that have that artistic element. (my own included). Perfect subject, you will no doubt do well with this shot. 10 Gotcha |

what are YOU looking at??by shutterflyComment: This is beautiful. Children are candid in general, They are near impossible to get to pose without a cheezy smile. This is a natural shot in my book, but many of the viewers might think that her looking at the camera kills the candid. ? Beautiful subject, the eyes are reflecting a little strong, dead center of the pupils, this could be a problem in low lighting. Skin tone/contrast all fabulous. Nice work - Gotcha |
