Sunshine and shadeby AndelainComment: An exceptionally pleaseing image with great light overall. The horizon is very close to dead-center, but you could easily crop out some of the sky. It's a real stretch to say it meets the challenge, but since it's so well done - no points deducted for that! Great job! |

"Black & White," On The Rocksby whagerbaumerComment: Your image has a nice overall feeling - and it's a nice idea for opposites. Composition wise - the upper left corner should be removed. Post processing - the contrast seems a bit high.
Still a good opposite entry. |

Fire & Iceby rha600Comment: Effective - about the most popular theme of the challenge. Bacgound bring the flame out very well. |

Fire & Iceby kaenmeyComment: One of several fire and ice entries. Rather abstract but pleasant. |

Peaceful Explosionby peeteComment: Are you telling your age - or is that peace symbol still around? A very original idea - well executed. The orange background is very effective. How to add a point or two = one of the wicks lit and sparkling! |

32 degrees and risingby BrennanOBComment: One of several "fice and ice" submissions - but one that is a techical gem. Your choice of a black background was perfect for this setup. Keep up the nice work. |

calm and violentby anshalin1Comment: Wish I were there - a very pleasant scene. The blue of the downstream water is bit unnatural - but works very well for you. Composition fits perfectly. |

Thumbs Up & Thumbs Downby DaveyBComment: An original idea. The hands are well positined = good light. Background should probably be softer focus so that it doesn't detract. |
