 firecrackers laid out on glass, with a red cardboard for the backround. shot with the help of aleks. resample, sharpen... thats all.

Are you telling your age - or is that peace symbol still around? A very original idea - well executed. The orange background is very effective. How to add a point or two = one of the wicks lit and sparkling!

One of those people that hoard fireworks for later in the year (just in case). :) Interesting shot and concept, I think one lit fuse might have enhanced the meaning. 7

i like the black of the fireworks that contrast with the red background, but i would rather the pictures it all the fuses would of been tied up, its less of a mess

I like the background and sharpness. I'm not crazy about this overall though - doesn't have quite enough points of interest to make it really stand out for me.

Verry nice, I like the idea, I like the colors, I like the photo! People will probably hammer you on the slight amount of noise (hot pixels? link? I'm curious???) but don't let them get to you... this is a killer picture! Hope it makes the top 10...
