my cats love catnip.
I have four.
and they have wars over who sleeps on the catnip pillow.
it gets quite nasty sometimes.
the normally docile quiet ones get all bent out of shape and attack.
that stuff should be illegal :-)

Anyway, about your picture, it's great.
I don't know how I missed it in the challenge.
But I did.
You've done a great job with the white background and the composition of the kitty.
very well done.
it should certainly have placed higher than it did.

it has probably already been said, but I will say it anyway....this is a good capture of a bird in flight, but the background kust looks like bokeh rather than motion panning.
and that could hurt your score.
