Trafficby NikonJebComment: I understand what nam is saying re straightening however, there are times when a (purposeful) wonky horizon works and feel this is one of those times. It seems to add another dynamic to the scene and the kerb now is vertical up the right side of the image bouncing the viewer back into the image. That said the road might just have a terrible camber! |

subwayby instepsComment: Great look by Jin, the noise and the colours work well but I do wonder if the image would have more impact as a gritty B&W? |

Untitledby aznymComment: My first thought is this lacks a little contrast however, that is soon forgotten by the off centre composition, those lines and (of course) those birds! |

- - - -by krnodilComment: I (for one) like the exposure and colouring here, however, not so sure what this exercise in composition is? I like the fence in the foreground and the tall tree just off centre but am sure you could find a 'better' composition here, maybe square is not the right format? (or, is that what this exercise is about?)
Now, even at 59yrs old am heppy to be educated - 1 tree without leaves and 2 with, am guessing there are at leaat 2 varieties here but no idea whaat thy are called. |

Laterby jomariComment: I like the way the handrail leads you into the image then the boardwalk takes you through it.
It took me a moment to spot the surfers, I wonder if the girls are waiting for their guys so start riding the waves? |

earth-bound misfit, Iby ubiqueComment: I thought the contrail was a bolt of lightening at first! I also didn't see the 'telegraph wire' in the thumb. Am guessing that orb thingy is the reason for your title? I don't think its a misfit at all.
I was going to say how much I love the trees but guess they are not that special to you as you live in stunning tree country. |

She Leaves Before Dawnby PenelopeKComment: Trawling isn't an easy job :(
OK, prepare to have your mind blown!
I once went to a medieval banquet at Warwick Castle, I lived in Taunton for a year in my youth, my Father was born in Plymouth. I have no history with the town of Sandwich (but have eaten many). I holidayed in Wareham once, Falmouth a few times and my Paternal Grandparents moved to Barnstable just after the second world war.
I worked in Norwich for 12 years before moving to my current home and my mother was brought up in Enfield. I could go on but don't want to bore you too much.
All of the above of course was done in the UK!
To finish, Taunton Massachusetts to Barnstable Massachusetts is 51.5 miles, Taunton UK to Barnstable UK is 49.6 miles.
Some coincidence(s)

Morning Visitorby grahamgatorComment: The lovely colours seem painterly. Is this track cut for us humans? It looks as if the deer have made it their track now, it's well worn. |
