what a brilliant take on life in a 'small' town ..
thats an assumption .. it could be just a suburban street in a very large city .. ;)
anyway .. i'm loving your photo with the slant .. the guy in the wheelchair and the fancy car parked over there ..
and btw .. i think ppl are driving on the wrong side of the road .. lol .. ;)
and also btw .. this just totally pops ..!!.. the colours and the 'stucture' .. loving it .. :)

Not your typical fall scene -- lots of beautiful foliage but gray skies. It looks cold! We have a fair number of seniors riding around in their scooters. They used to love to ride in the street and foul up traffic until a couple of them got hit by cars. Now they pretty much stay on the sidewalk and hit the occasional pedestrian. I really like the color and detail in this shot.

I do like the darker area of pavement leading a diagonal line up through the bottom half

I find this too evenly processed and my eyes cannot attach to anything in particular. Or is it the high definition?

I understand what nam is saying re straightening however, there are times when a (purposeful) wonky horizon works and feel this is one of those times. It seems to add another dynamic to the scene and the kerb now is vertical up the right side of the image bouncing the viewer back into the image. That said the road might just have a terrible camber!

Lucky the traffic is light. The road where he rides looks rough and somewhat risky. Nice details everywhere.

Great scene - how lucky that gentleman is to have the mobility the electric wheelchair (cart? can't quite see) affords him. I'm a compulsive straightener and would at the least rotate CW - I know I'm in the minority in this side challenge, but I might as well own it :)
