A Proud Birdby mariomelComment: Without a doubt this is an excellent photo. It only lacks for me that something special I was looking for in a Master of masters challenge. When I look at my Bald Eagle shots I could only hope to achieve one like this! Very well done.

Golden Lightby JPRComment: Had to bump this up for the emotion it conveys. I never prefer shots of captivity... yet sometimes the story comes through... where this taken in the 'wilds' I would perceive a completely different concern on the mothers face. This is a great picture. |

tweak the subject matter...you know, make the cheeks a little rosier... That being said ... a glance over the shoulder, with perhaps a gleam in the eye or a blush on the cheeks would have put this on top! 8
