It's overby pcodyComment: The right seems a bit too dark to be appealing. I do, however, like the powerful textures that are visible here. |

pizza place shoot-outby proger_alcantaraComment: Technicaly, this is an ok photo, but I'm marking down lower because it seems a little exploitative. I'm not saying that this topic can't be photographed, and I also trust that that guy wasn't really shot, but when I look at it just on its own, I just don't get the photo. It's just not especially visually appealing or provocative.... |

In 2004, I Will Be a Team Playerby dirtkahunaComment: Somehow, this is a hilarious photo. And it looks really nice, too - the golden lighting on the fatted squirrel is great. The linear background is in excellent juxtaposition with the furry animal too. Nice job. Despite, the fact that I'm unsure how it relates to the theme, it takes my top vote for the week... |

Green resolutionsby greuuComment: Beautiful exhibition of variable depth of focus. The soft green is extremely inviting. |

Reaching new heightsby pitsamanComment: In this case, I would want this photo even clearer, so that even those thin branches aren't blurred. Otherwise, this is a stunning photograph in terms of both shape and color. (It should be in a mathematics textbook on fractals.) |

When you do dance, I wish youby sergutComment: This is a nice angle of the shot, and you've coupled it nicely with the motion blurs framing the subject. I think even more motion blur in this case would be more appealing to me. |

Learn to listenby GoldBerryComment: Interesting setup and image, but the darkness on the right makes the photo have more of a mood of horror than anything else. |

"Be the Person My Dog Thinks I Am"by basia03Comment: I would have really, really loved this photo if it were either clearer or if it were blurred more/posterized. As it is, the image is in between perfectly clear and stylized, and it kinda bugs me... Other than that, though, I really like the placement of the subject, the colors and lines - it\'s really striking. Nice job. |

roof lineby deceptiveComment: Beautiful composition. It's like a photographer's version of Mark Rothko. ...And it reminds me of an idea- you could probably use the same strategy you used creating this photo for representing some world flags! That\'s also what your photo reminds me of. |
