Warts and allby JeanComment: I could like this a lot more if the DOF allowed the whole toad to be in focus especially as it would have given the chance to sharpen it just that tad more to reveal the texture.
How did you get it sit still on that black backdrop? |

I do like tree bark but IMHO the incident lighting just does not seem to do it justice. Maybe a little more sharpening would have given that "zip" to make it stand out. Not sure. |

Very novel concept and well composed but the highlights blown on the cut surface & that has diminished the texture effect. But a 6 for all that. |

Texture yes and great lighting just a pity the the pink shell is OOF but a nice idea even better perhaps with a tighter crop. |
