a happy soul.by lineyComment: The background is a little busier than I care for. A shallower DOF would have reduced this problem.

Sadness from withinby garlicComment: I guess even superheroes have a bad day occasionally. Was there a gel over the lens / light, or was the color shift done in Photoshop?

Solemn Joyby moviemanComment: The mirror creates an interesting effect. The background is overexposed, but I suppose that that's what the sky is supposed to look like under these circumstances. |

Speech Anxietyby pcodyComment: It might just be the light, but it looks like the right side of her face is a little too soft, as though the DOF was too narrow. |

Brothers!!!by mexicoComment: The background is quite distracting, particularly the bright blue thing that leads me to look outside the frame. With a shallower DOF this would have been a better image. |

Don't Leave Daddyby ericsuthComment: This is a really powerful shot. The blurry hair in the foreground is quite distracting, but the subject exemplifies the challenge topic that I'm willing to overlook it. Very nicely done. |

Getting the Gigglesby TallblokeComment: The light is a little bit harsh, and the hand sticking into the right side of the frame leads my eyes out of the image. Since advanced editing was allowed in this challenge and your background is a solid color you might have been better off burning out her hand. |

Sad is not the right word.by willow_zzenComment: I like the use of flesh tones throughout this image. The only thing I think that I'd change is to remove her bracelets; they seem to be the only thing in the picture that doesn't look organic. There are discolorations on your model's arms and legs which look like faded bruises. But because of the mood conveyed by the pose, this is probably an asset in this case. |

Happy!by myceliumComment: Nice DOF. I like the detail on the wings. I was going to mark this down because dragonflys can't smile, but it really does look like this one is. |
