Chicagoby DefyTimeComment: Great capture. I love the black & white. I love the softness of the clouds and smoothness of the shoreline against the sharp focus of the buildings. Time of day has also given some really interesting highlights and shadows. Thanks! |

Transcending Timeby SchmeldontinoComment: Boy, that tree sure has survived against all odds, huh? I really like this a lot. The crop works, the subtle, muted colors are really nice. My only complaint is that the cliff itself is in great focus, the tree is just a bit too soft for me. Very well done! |

Blue Flaxby chickadeezlComment: Such a simple subject, but so beautifully done - definitely a hidden gem! I really love the depth here. Choosing that front cluster of blooms makes the whole thing pop. Great job. |

Her Momentby WickedSoundComment: So gorgeous! I love the muted colors with that shot of color by her face. Looks like a painting! She looks like she's got a really good secret. |

Skullduggeryby Les_FeckComment: There's too much going on between the fruit, the bowl, the candlesticks, then throwing in the rope and the skull. Sometimes less is more. The skull on it's own would be interesting. Good luck. |

Withered and Worn by njsabsComment: He may be withered and worn, but you've managed to capture an expression of mischief and a sparkle in his eye! Well done! |

Spring Promiseby justineComment: I really like this a lot. Dramatic and elegant.
On a side note, I don't think your title does it justice. I would see a color photo with green shoots as 'spring promise', not a B&W. |

Morning Gloryby IvoryComment: Very nice subject, but just a bit too much. Could have cropped out most of the path (from the picnic table across)and focused on just the contrast of the trees against the sky. |

Open Windowby leugim_sevenComment: The textures are very appealing. There's so much to see - bolts, nails, bars, bricks. The flash reflection on the glass is a tiny bit distracting, but I love the photo as a whole. |

Aloneby prperoldComment: The colors, textures, impeccable. The lighting on the left side drew my eye to the fisherman despite the amazing rocks in the forefront. Great job. |
