i dont exactly know why this appeals to me so much ..
i spose its the fact that not everything is immediately obvious .. and some things not at all .. loving the high key and contrast .. and the black and white ..
whatever is going on here is so incredibly appealing .. and the more i write the more becomes revealed as i look up at this image .. from a great almost abstract it has actually become emotive ..

One of my favorite birds, and they certainly have an impressive wingspan. Nicely captured. He could use a bit of sharpening, IMO.
